I’ve been using the Cattle Handling Equipment I recently purchased from you and wanted to let you all know I’m happy with the setup. The heavy duty crowding tub, adjustable curved alleyway, gates and sliding doors etc, are all working as planned. The facility layout and cattle flow that your team helped me configure works very good. We have narrowed the alleyway to work 500 lb. calves as well as widened it out to process 1500 pound Bulls. Conversion time is fast, easy and convenient. Pins line up, welds are good and strong as is the material. The Animat we have at the headgate exit is providing secure footing and standing up to the heavy traffic of cattle exiting the chute. I started shopping for a new working chute a couple of years ago. Having been around cattle my entire life and having used various brands working cows and calves for myself and others, there were certain features that impressed me about the Arrow. The most impressive feature to me was the unique head gate. Years of livestock production takes a toll on one’s body and I am no different. I have some major shoulder issues and find the head gate easy to work, without constantly reaching over my head. It is easy for my wife and kids( even my 12 year old daughter) to operate. Many times I need to get something in to treat by myself and the 2nd removable handle makes the job so much easier. We love the full length adjustable squeeze that is incredibly easy to change from the biggest bull to the smallest calves in a couple of seconds. We even narrowed it up to use for pre breeding processing on some of our ewe flock. It would easily hold 3-4 ewes at a time and it was easy to gain access by removing the branding doors. The optional head holder is just plain awesome. One group of calves had a bad run of pink eye late in the year and our local vets were very impressed with its ease of use and ability to secure the head for sutures and injections. We were pleased with our decision to have our dealer add the optional rubberized flooring. This only further reduced the sound level and helped the cattle stay calm and comfortable. All in all we have been very pleased with our decision to purchase the Q 8500 .

The Arrowquip 8500 is a great chute. My wife loves it because it is easy for her to use. The head holder works really well at holding their head in place.
